Manga vs. Comics

First, let's clarify what each of them is. Basically, both are comic books, but manga predominantly comes from Japan and comics from the United States. However, the differences don't stop there. A complete comic book arc lasts around 5 to 7 issues, while a manga, as we know, can have over 300 volumes! Furthermore, the Japanese always try to clearly express the characters' emotions. On the other hand, comics focus much more on action and story progression.

In terms of adaptations, manga generally stand out for their anime adaptations, but they also attract a lot of attention in cinemas, such as the recent successes of the Demon Slayer Mugen Train and Jujutsu Kaisen 0 films. In contrast, comics have focused much more on films than on animation.
