The end of an era for Midoriya and his friends! The manga 'Boku no Hero Academia' (My Hero Academia) has officially concluded. According to Weekly Shōnen Jump magazine, there are only five chapters left until the official conclusion of the saga .
- Manga “Ijiranaide, Nagatoro-San” comes to an end in 3 chapters
- Manga “Edens Zero” by the creator of “Fairy Tail”, comes to an end in 5 chapters
Author Kohei Horikoshi took the opportunity to leave a message for fans:
Sorry for taking two weeks off! My schedule was so packed it felt like a Mille-feuille! Now, there are only 5 chapters left.
You might be thinking, "There are still 5 chapters left!?" or "Only 5 chapters left!?", but either way, I'll do my best to make sure everyone enjoys these last moments with Deku and company!
It's been a challenging journey, but drawing Deku and the others for almost 10 years has been a dream come true, thanks to all of you who've stuck with me. It's been an incredible experience. Thank you so much!

Kohei Horikoshi
According to the publisher, the long-awaited final chapter of Kōhei Horikoshi's work will be released on August 5th in Weekly Shonen Jump magazine. The manga is currently on a brief hiatus but will return on July 1st, 2024.
So, with this long and emotional journey coming to an end in just 5 chapters, My Hero Academia fans are preparing to say goodbye to Deku and his friends. It's been a journey full of challenges and adventures, and Horikoshi has managed to capture readers' hearts over these nearly 10 years.
In the story of 'Boku no Hero Academia' (My Hero Academia) we follow the life of Izuku Midoriya, a boy who was born without individuality in a world where it is common to have them, but still dreams of becoming a superhero.
Finally, the manga is written and illustrated by Kōhei Horikoshi. The manga's chapters have been published in Weekly Shōnen Jump magazine since July 2014, and are compiled into tankōbon volumes by Shueisha. The series is licensed and published in Brazil by JBC and in Portugal by Editora Devir.
Furthermore, the manga was adapted into an anime produced by the studio Bones in 2016.
