The June issue of Monthly Young Magazine features the voice cast for the anime adaptation of the manga Tokurei Sochi Dantai Stella Jo-Gakuin Kouto-ka C3-Bu, a work by Ikoma and Tomomoka Midori , which includes:
- Yui Makino (Yusa from Angel Beats!) as Yura Yamato;
- Miyuki Sawashiro (Cordelia Gallo from Gosick) as Sonora Kashima;
- Ai Kayano (Kanade Oue from Chihayafuru) as Karila Hatsuse;
- Chiwa Saito (Hitagi Senjougahara from Bakemonogatari) as Honoka Mutsu;
- Rima Nishizaki (newcomer) as Rento Kirishima;
- Madoka Yonezawa (K-ON!)'s Ui Hirasawa as Yachiyo Hinata.
The series, nicknamed C3-Bu, is produced by Studio Gainax , directed by Masayoshi Kawajiri, who makes his directorial debut with this anime. The character design for C3-Bu is by fellow debutant Manami Umeshita, while Kotaro Nakagawa is in charge of the soundtrack. The anime premieres in June on TBS and BS-TBS . C3-Bu tells the story of Yura Yamato, who has just entered Stella Girls' High School, where she meets third-year student Sonora Kashima, who invites her to join the survival game club "C3," which she presides over. The C3 club includes second-year students Karira Hatsuse and Honoka Musu, and two other newcomers: Rento Kirishima and Yachiyo Hinata. Pony Canyon released the first teaser for Tokurei Sochi Dantai Stella Jo-Gakuin Kouto-ka C3-Bu back in March.
