The popular manga Sousou no Frieren (Frieren and the Journey to the Beyond) by Abe Tsukasa and Yamada Kanehito has announced its indefinite hiatus.

Therefore, Sousou's hiatus at Frieren begins on May 8, 2024.
It's worth noting that by December 2023, the manga had over 17 million copies in circulation. In 2021, it won the 14th Manga Taishō and the New Creator Award at the 25th Annual Tezuka Osamu Cultural Prize.

As for the plot, after the demon king's defeat, the victorious band of heroes prepares to part ways and return home. Frieren, the mage, Himmel, the hero, Heiter, the priest, and Eisen, the warrior, reminisce about their decade-long journey as they prepare to say goodbye.
