The sci-fi manga Ex-Arm into an anime , according to the 12th volume of the manga by authors Shinya Komi and HiRock, who also revealed the anime adaptation.
The story focuses on the character Akira Natsume, who, after being saved from a tragic traffic accident, has her brain restored and later becomes part of an advanced weapon. Akira cooperates with the EX-ARM countermeasures division of the police to recover her memories and body.
With illustrations by Shinya Komi and a story by HiRock , the manga began its run in February 2015 in Grand Jump as a remake of the work EX-VITA . It later moved to Shonen Jump+ in December 2017.
