Currently the anime of “Sousou no Frieren has been adapted up to chapter 60 of the manga, currently in volume 7. Therefore the first season of the anime ended with 28 episodes on March 22nd of this year.

Animated by the renowned studio Madhouse ( Hunter x Hunter, Death Note ) and directed by Keiichirou Saitou , known for his successful work on the adaptation of “ Bocchi the Rock! ”, the series exceeded fans’ expectations in several important aspects for good storytelling.

Synopsis:

Shortly after the demon king's defeat, the group of victorious heroes returns home, ready to part ways. Frieren the mage, Himmel the hero, Heiter the priest, and Eisen the warrior reminisce about their decade-long journey as the time comes to say goodbye.

Finally, Frieren: Beyond Journey's End manga series written by Kanehito Yamada and illustrated by Tsukasa Abe. It has been serialized in Shogakukan's Weekly Shōnen Sunday since April 2020.
