Synopsis Hana-Kimi :

Mizuki Ashiya lives in the United States. She watches Japanese high jumper Sano Izumi compete on TV and becomes fascinated. When Sano gets injured and interrupts his athletic career, Mizuki blames herself and decides to go to Japan to convince him to return to competition. However, the only obstacle is that Sano's school is exclusively for boys. But Mizuki decides to change her appearance, cuts her hair, and adapts her way of speaking to pass as a boy. She enrolls in the school and becomes Sano's roommate, triggering a series of exciting events.

Finally, Hisaya Nakajo's work began in 1996 and ended in 2004 with 23 volumes published in the Hana to Yume magazine by Hakusensha publishing house, resulting in several spin-off projects during that time.
