Manga 'Hataraku Maou-sama!' Nears Climax

The manga Hataraku Maou-sama! ( The Devil is a Part-Timer! ) by Akio Hiiragi , inspired by the novel of the same name by Satoshi Wagahara, is entering the climax of the story.

The October issue of Kadokawa 's Dengeki Daioh revealed that the manga will reach its climax in the next issue on September 26.

Synopsis

The Demon King Satan was just one step away from conquering the magical world of Ente Isla, but he was defeated by the heroine Emilia Justina and forced to travel to another world: modern-day Earth. However, due to the lack of magic in this world, Satan and his faithful squire Alsiel assume human forms and begin working at a fast-food restaurant to support themselves in the new world.

Furthermore, the manga Hataraku Maou-sama! is illustrated by Akio Hiiragi and written by Satoshi Wagahara, and has been published since February 2012 with 16 volumes to date.

Wagahara released the novel with illustrations by 029 (Oniku) in 2011 and finished with the 21st volume on August 7, delayed from its original date of July 10 due to Covid-19.

Finally, the novel received a 13-episode anime adaptation in 2013 by the White Fox and licensed by Funimation .
