The May issue of Bessatsu Friend announced that the manga L-DK, by mangaka Ayu Watanabe , will be adapted into a film. The L-DK manga tells the story of Aoi Nishimori, a girl who lives alone and has few friends. When the school's "prince," Shuusei Kugayama, rejects her best friend, she argues with him, believing him to be the worst person in the world. That same day, returning home, she notices some girls trying to snoop around the apartment of her newly moved-in neighbor, whom she doesn't know. She ends up fighting with the girls without realizing that the new resident is none other than the "hated" Shuusei. Thus, the two begin a relationship, which intensifies when she "destroys" his apartment. Bessatsu Friend did not specify whether the film will be live-action or animated, only confirming that more information will be given in the June issue.
