Author Chimaki Kuori launched a Saint Seiya spinoff manga, titled Saint Seiya: Saintia Shō, Akita Shoten 's Champion RED magazine . It begins after Masami Kurumada's classic main story in the Saint Seiya manga.
Synopsis: The story takes place after the original events of Saint Seiya, but now Athena is protected by a woman called "Shô", from the constellation of Horse Minor, a companion of Athena who is willing to sacrifice her life to protect her from those who dare to rise against her.
