Synopsis
Miroku is a woman with a slitted mouth whose ear-to-ear smile inspires fear in the superstitious, but who would have guessed she had a fiancé? Once an infamous urban legend, the self-proclaimed "Queen of Folklore" finds her existence threatened by the public's waning belief in her. She is also drawn into a contractual marriage with Kouichi Sano, a 17-year-old from a family responsible for the continued existence of the supernatural.
Miroku isn't thrilled with the arrangement and wants to regain her notoriety through her own means. For this reason, Sano makes his fiancée an offer: if she can scare him once before she turns 18, he'll end their engagement. Miroku accepts these conditions, but is disturbed by Sano's condition—he must make her fall in love with him.
Kajimoto launched the series digitally on Shonen Jump+ in November 2020. Shueisha released volume 10 on November 2.
