The manga series by Kaiu Shirai and Posuka Demizu is currently being published by Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine since 2016. The Promised currently has 9 volumes. This information was made public through the ISBN registration website.

The story follows Emma and her friends, who have a fairly pleasant life at the orphanage where they grew up. Although the rules of the place are somewhat strict, the caretaker is very kind and everyone feels good. However, one day, Emma ends up being forced to enter a forbidden area.
