The official website for the anime Maou no Ore ga Dorei Elf wo Yome ni Shitanda ga, Dou Medereba Ii? ( An Archdemon's Dilemma – How to Love Your Elf Bride ) has revealed a promotional video and visual art for the anime based on Fuminori Teshima's light novel series. The video introduces the main cast, staff, and the 2024 premiere date.

Staff and cast
Hiroshi Ishiodori (Kiss Him, Not Me) is directing the anime at Brains Base , and Keiji Gotoh ( In/Spectre ) is supervising the animation. Aya Yoshinaga is supervising the scripts, and Mina Oosawa ( Given , The Strongest Sage With the Weakest Crest ) is responsible for the character designs. Musician Yuma Yamaguchi ( Undead Murder Farce ) is composing the soundtrack.
Yuusuke Kobayashi will play the role of Zagan, a powerful reclusive sorcerer, and Kana Ichinose will play Nephy, a beautiful elf. Furthermore, the anime adaptation of the light novel was announced in October 2022.
Synopsis
Zagan is a super-powerful sorcerer, but he lives as a recluse. And now he faces his greatest challenge… falling in love! Socially awkward and grumpy, he spends his days studying sorcery and driving away intruders in his domain. One day, he is invited to a shadowy auction, and what he finds there is an elven slave of unparalleled beauty, Nephy. Smitten at first sight, Zagan spends his entire fortune to buy her, but being a poor conversationalist, he has no idea how to properly interact with her. Thus begins the awkward cohabitation of a sorcerer who doesn't know how to express his love and his slave who longs for her master but doesn't know how to win him over.
Finally, Hako Itagaki launched the manga adaptation of the light novel in Comic Fire in February 2018. Hobby Japan published the first compiled volume of the manga in August 2018 and will release the 11th volume on December 1st.
