It has been announced that the manga Maoujou de Oyasumi anime adaptation ! The announcement was made by Shounen Sunday , the magazine where the manga is serialized, and there are still no details about the production or release date.
The manga synopsis describes:
“Sshhh! Princess Syalis is trying to get a good night's sleep. Close your eyes. Forty little blinks. Catch a nap. Long ago, in ancient times where people and demons lived together —well, in disharmony, actually—a demon king captures a human princess and imprisons her in his castle. Bereft, the princess's subjects feel a pang in their chests…until a hero appears to initiate Project Rescue Our Princess! While waiting for her knight in shining armor, what will our imprisoned princess do…? Teddy bear guards with bat wings are fine, but her prison cell is sooo boring! So, she decides to spend her long hours of waiting sleeping. But if only she could find a comfortable position…and not suffer from insomnia.”
