It has been announced that the manga Maoujou de Oyasumi anime adaptation ! The announcement was made by Shounen Sunday , the magazine where the manga is serialized, and there are still no details about the production or release date.
The manga synopsis describes:
“Shhh! Princess Syalis is trying to get a good night’s sleep. Close your eyes. Forty blinks. Catch a nap. Long ago, in ancient times when humans and demons lived together —well, in disharmony, actually—a demon king captured a human princess and imprisoned her in his castle. Stripped bare, the princess’s subjects were left with a pang in their chests…until a hero appeared to initiate Project Rescue Our Princess! While waiting for her knight in shining armor, what will our imprisoned princess do…? Teddy bear guards with bat wings are okay, but her prison cell is sooooo boring! So, she decides to pass her long hours of waiting sleeping. But if only she could get into a comfortable position…and didn’t suffer from insomnia.”
