It has been announced that the Maoujou de Oyasumi manga anime adaptation ! The announcement was made by Shounen Sunday , the magazine where the manga is serialized, and there are still no details about production or release date.
The manga synopsis describes:
“Sshhh! Princess Syalis is trying to get a good night's sleep. Close your eyes. Forty winks. Catch a nap. Long ago in ancient times where people and demons lived together —well, in disharmony, actually—a demon king captures a human princess and imprisons her in her castle. Stripped, the princess's subjects feel tight in their chests...until a hero appears to start the Rescue Our Princess project! While waiting for her knight in shining armor, what will our imprisoned princess do…? Bat-winged teddy bear guards are ok, but their prison cell is sooooo boring! So, she decides to spend her long hours of waiting sleeping. But if she could get a comfortable position…and not suffer from insomnia.”
