Mario Kart 8 - New DLC with new tracks and characters!

According to a list leaked on the Nintendo UK Store, there are a bunch of new DLCs planned for Mario Kart 8, including new tracks, new characters, new cars, and lots of other new features.

Each pack will add three characters, four vehicles, and two cups, each with four tracks. Some classic tracks will return, such as Wario's Gold Mine from Mario Kart Wii, but there will also be brand new tracks. These packs will not be limited to the Mario, adding characters, tracks, and vehicles from The Legend of Zelda, Animal Crossing , and F-Zero series.

Mario Kart 8 Pack 1 adds the characters Tanooki Mario, Cat Peach , and Link, with a release scheduled for November of this year. Mario Kart 8 Pack 2, planned for May 2015, adds the character Dry Bones, as well as the Villager and Isabellefrom Animal Crossing.

Anyone who buys both packs, either as a bundle or separately, will also receive eight color variations for Yoshi and eight more variations for Shy Guy.

Mario Kart 8 was released on May 30th of this year for Wii U, and since then it has been an absolute critical and commercial success.
