Nintendo President Satoru Iwata, during a live event held this Friday, presented an upcoming Sega release, "Mario & Sonic at the Sochi Winter Olympic Games." This launch, which involves the Sonic and Mario franchises, takes place this time during the Russian winter, which is promised to be the home of the 2014 Winter Olympic Games. Oh yes, Exclusive to Nintendo Wii U!
The game will feature a series of exotic events, lol, such as pairs figure skating competitions, and the optimization of many other in-game events, gaining a new dynamic in terms of motion sensitivity. This is the first franchise to be manipulated by the Wii controller's movements, as the last version of the game, which featured the London 2012 Winter Games, did not support the Wii's MotionPlus. This is the fourth release in which Sega and Nintendo have partnered to launch the Olympic Games; the two " Game Makers " have been partners in the project since 2007, when Sega released its first game for the Wii and Nintendo DS.
Nintendo took advantage of the momentum and also announced a next Sonic adventure, which would be "Sonic: Lost World". Present at the event Jurgen Post, CO of Sega Europe, hammered out with the International Twins that there will be a third Sonic franchise that will be exclusive to Nintendo. In his topic he says; "Sega has chosen to make an exclusive partnership with Nintendo to distribute and publish, throughout Europe and Australia, the next three adventures of Sonic The Hedgehog.
