Marvel Rivals Season 3 is about to begin and promises a series of new features for fans of NetEase's competitive shooter. Starting on July 11th, the new Battle Pass brings themed skins, double tokens, and adjustments to the mission system. The character Phoenix also joins the playable roster, marking a more intense and condensed phase of the game.
With the season's duration reduced to two months instead of three, the developer has implemented strategic changes to maintain the pace and rewards for players. Below, see all the details of what to expect from the pass and how to secure exclusive items.

The Battle Pass retains its structure, but rewards faster
The third season continues to offer 10 exclusive skins as part of the pass, maintaining the same price as the previous season. However, the amount of Chrono Tokens, the currency needed to unlock the content, will be higher, allowing players to progress more quickly during the shortened season.
In addition, NetEase has removed the daily missions, redistributing the rewards among the other challenges. Now, the weekly challenges will remain active until the end of the season, ensuring that busier players are not at a disadvantage.
Seasonal missions bring more content and flexibility
One of the biggest new features is the arrival of Seasonal Missions, which remain active throughout the cycle and offer a larger volume of Chrono Tokens. This will give players more freedom to progress at their own pace, without the pressure of daily logins.
Thus, the change also brings Marvel Rivals closer to other games in the genre, such as Fortnite and Apex Legends, which already adopt a similar system of permanent challenges throughout the season.
Skins from Season 3 explore the symbiotic universe and the Phoenix Force
The main theme of Season 3 revolves around the planet Klyntar and the presence of the villain Knull, bringing with it several skins inspired by symbiotes. Among the visuals already confirmed in the pass are:
- Rocket Raccoon, Squirrel Girl and Jeff the Land Shark with symbiotic skins;
- Emma Frost with Phoenix Force skin;
- Magik and Wolverine will also receive versions with the power of the Phoenix;
- Blade, Hela, and Storm will get visuals based on the "Knullified" aesthetic.
Some of these skins haven't had their acquisition method confirmed yet, possibly arriving via events or the store, but the previews already reveal a darker and more impactful visual style.

Additional rewards expand hero customization
In addition to skins, the Battle Pass will feature the traditional sprays, MVP screens, emotes, and visual effects. One of the most anticipated features is Unstable Molecules, materials that allow you to unlock Ultimate VFX, adding unique effects to players' favorite characters.
As in previous seasons, there will be two reward tracks:
- The free track, with a limited number of items, including some skins;
- The premium track, which offers full access to all unlockable content.
When does the season start and how to prepare?
Marvel Rivals Season 3 officially begins on July 11th. Players interested in making the most of the Battle Pass should keep an eye out for in-game updates and complete the available missions in the first few weeks.
Tip: Save your Chrono Tokens and follow the news on the game's official website to find out which rewards will be tied to events or sold separately.
