Studio Doga Kobo has revealed the original anime Mebius Dust , based on a story by Hajime Shinagawa. The project will premiere in 2026 and gained prominence by winning the "Kids/Game" category at Project Anima in 2019.

The series will be directed by Tarou Iwasaki, known for works such as Baki the Grappler and One Week Friends. The script will be supervised by Yoriko Tomita, who worked on My Dress-Up Darling and The Elusive Samurai.

Mebius Dust is the third anime from Project Anima, an initiative that brought together stories submitted by creators on platforms like MangaBox and Everystar. The project has already spawned titles such as Sakugan and also the adaptation of The Stories of Girls Who Couldn't Become Magicians, released in 2024.

Synopsis of Mebius Dust

The story follows Araki, Stella, and Olga, three students who live in a quiet neighborhood. Between games, visits to the public bath, and the return home, the girls' daily lives seem simple, but the narrative suggests there is something beyond this seemingly ordinary routine.

With a focus on everyday life and potential mysteries, Mebius Dust emerges as yet another original narrative offering in the current anime scene. For more anime , follow AnimeNews.
