The official website for Sae Okamoto's Mecha-Ude project revealed the main staff, cast, 2024 premiere date, and the anime's first promotional video on Friday.

The anime stars:

Okamoto is the original creator and is therefore directing the anime (under the name Okamoto) at the up-and-coming Fukuoka-based studio TriF. TriF's Yasuhiro Nakanishi is overseeing the series' scripts, while Terumi Nishi and Yoko Uchida are the character designers. Nurikabe is the Mecha-Ude designer and concept artist. Finally, Hiroyuki Sawano, Kohta Yamamoto, and DAIKI of AWSM are composing the music.
Synopsis
Kitakagami City is a fairly ordinary town… except for the fact that some people have now managed to get their hands on Mecha-Ude: powerful, sentient mechanical beings that attach to the limbs of their hosts. When high school student Hikaru accidentally activates Alma, a mysterious Mecha-Ude with no memory of its past, he forms an unlikely bond with the talking arm. But where did Alma come from? And why are secret organizations and shadowy corporate assassins, with their own deadly Mecha-Ude, suddenly chasing Hikaru, determined to steal Alma? Hikaru and Alma must learn to work together to uncover the truth behind Alma's identity and prevent him from falling into the wrong hands (or the wrong arm)!
Finally, Hiroshi Matsuyama of CyberConnect2 is the general supervisor, Shūichi Asō of TriF Studio is the animation producer, and Tetsuya Kinoshita of Pony Canyon is the producer.
