Pokémon Company has released a new trailer for Pokémon the Movie: Extreme Speed Genesect : Mewtwo's Awakening (Gekijōban Pocket Monster Best Wishes! Shinsoku no Genesect: Mewtwo Kakusei), the 16th film in the franchise directed by Kunihiko Yuyama . The trailer features the long-awaited appearance of Mewtwo, who appears to save Ash and his friends from a Genesect attack. The trainer recognizes Mewtwo instantly. At the end of the video, the phrase: "You still don't know the real Mewtwo" is uttered. We also see a brief scene from the short film Pikachu to Eevee Friends, featuring Sylveon, Eevee's new evolution. Pokémon: Extreme Speed Genesect and The Reawakening of Mewtwo is scheduled to premiere in Japanese theaters on July 13.
