A new trailer for Pokémon the Movie: Extreme Speed Genesect : Mewtwo's Awakening (Gekijōban Pocket Monster Best Wishes! Shinsoku no Genesect: Mewtwo Kakusei), the 16th film in the franchise directed by Kunihiko Yuyama has been released by The Pokémon Company . The trailer shows the long-awaited appearance of Mewtwo, who emerges to save Ash and his friends from an attack by Genesect. The trainer recognizes Mewtwo immediately. At the end of the video, the phrase "You haven't met the real Mewtwo yet" is said. We can also see a quick scene from the short film Pikachu to Eevee Friends, where Sylveon, the new evolution of Eevee, appears. Pokémon: Extreme Speed Genesect and The Reawakening of Mewtwo is scheduled to premiere on July 13th in Japanese theaters.
