However, we have the first image and teaser for the live-action film:
Based on the horror-comedy manga created by Tomoki Izumi, Mieruko-chan follows the story of Miko, a high school student who suddenly develops the ability to see grotesque and frightening ghosts in her daily life. Despite the overwhelming fear, Miko tries to ignore them at all costs, pretending that nothing is happening and maintaining a seemingly normal life.
Fans of the work can expect an adaptation faithful to the tense and fun atmosphere of the manga, with humor to balance the scares. However, the work received an anime adaptation in October 2021 with 12 episodes animated by Studio Passione.
