Mieruko-chan gets PV and premieres in October

The anime Mieruko-chan, inspired by Tomoki Izumi , has received a preview and a new visual. The preview announces the main cast, the October premiere, and the opening theme song.

Cast

Sora Amamiya as Miko Yotsuya. Kaede Hondo as Hana Yurikawa, Miko's best friend. Ayane Sakura as Yulia Nikaido, Miko and Hana's classmate

Amamiya will sing the opening theme song “Mienai Kara ne!?” (loose translation: Since you can’t see them, right!?)

Who is Mieruko-chan?!

Despite sounding cliché, Mieruko-chan is an example of a good story using a well-worn theme: seeing ghosts. Mieruko is a simple character who tries her best to ignore the "mediumship" that curses her life, but even though she pretends not to see them, the ghosts are still there. The manga follows a simple, yet at times frightening and even funny, story.

Synopsis

A girl who can see horrific spirits all around her. No one else can see them. Instead of running away, she simply gathers all her courage and ignores them. And so, she goes about her daily life, always trying to ignore these beings that insist on staying close to her...

Staff

Yuki Ogawa will direct the anime at Passione Studio ( Ishuzoku Reviewers , Higurashi: When They Cry – Gou ). Kento Inohara will compose and write the script. Chikashi Kadeka is the animation director and design director, while Makoto Uno will design the ghosts.

Finally, Tomoki Izumi's Mieruko-chan manga has been published in Comic Walker since November 2, 2018, with six volumes so far.
