Mieruko-chan: Anime gets a new look and cast

(Left to right) Yuichi Nakamura as Zen Tono, Ikuko Tani as Mitsue “Godmother” Takeda and Yumiri Hanamori as Kyosuke Yotsuya.

Who is Mieruko-chan?!

Despite seeming like a cliché, Mieruko-chan is an example of a good story using a well-worn theme: seeing ghosts. Mieruko is a simple character who tries with all her might to ignore the "mediumship" that curses her life, but even if she pretends not to see them, the ghosts are still there. The manga follows a simple story, but sometimes scary and even funny.
