Game producer Keiji Inafune, responsible for the Mega Man franchise, announced the first teaser for the animated series based on his newest game Mighty No. 9 at the AnimeExpo event. Tokyo animation company Digital Frontier is developing the series for a worldwide market .
Inafune (Megaman) and his company raised over US$3.5 million in their crowdfunding campaign in October last year. The side-scrolling adventure will be released in Spring 2015 for PlayStation Vita, Nintendo 3DS, PC, Mac, Linux, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii U, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
