Therefore, the film premieres on June 27, 2025, directed by Tatsuya Ishihara (Haruhi Suzumiya, CLANNAD).
Synopsis:
Kanna Kamui (カンナカムイ) is a young dragon who arrives in the human world looking for her friend Tooru. Upon discovering Tooru working as a maid for Kobayashi, a human, Kanna feels a mixture of jealousy and curiosity. Reluctantly, she ends up moving into Kobayashi's house, having been expelled from the dragon world for her constant mischief.
Over time, Kanna develops a special affection for Kobayashi, seeing her as a mother figure. Meanwhile, Tooru, whom she has always considered a sister, remains an important pillar in her life.
Finally, the first season, produced by Kyoto Animation, premiered in January 2017 with 13 episodes and an OVA. Its second season premiered in July 2021. Furthermore, the work is adapted from the manga written and illustrated by Coolkyoushinja.
