News about the highly anticipated Studio Ghibli will soon be featured on Japanese screens, but for now, Hayao Miyazaki took the opportunity to criticize the poster for the new film, according to producer Yoshiaki Nishimura , who participated in a recent press conference with Miyazaki .

The co- founder and director was angered after seeing the poster the wall related to the new film When Marnie Was There , saying that the use of a blonde in the spotlight outdated practice .

The new adaptation is based on a children's by Joan G. Robinson , and is directed by Hiromasa Yonebayashi ( The Secret World of Arrietty ). The film will be released on July 19th of this year.
