Modest Heroes ( Chiisana Eiyū: Kani to Tamago to Tōmei Ningen ) new animation from Studio Ponoc has won its first trailer with the ending theme “Sayonara Eiyū” sung by Kaela Kimura.
Furthermore, the entire anime is developed by Ponoc Studio with key names from the renowned Ghibli studio. The film will be divided into an anthology of short films, later separated into volumes.
Kanini to Kanino
The first short film focuses on an adventure-oriented narrative with a pair of crab brothers, directed by Hiromasa Yonebayashi (Mary and the Witch's Flower).
Samurai Egg
The second story is about a family love between mother and son, directed by Yoshiyuki Momose (Hotaru no Haka).
Toumei Ningen
Finally, the story of the third short will focus on the action about the solitary struggle of an invisible man, and is directed by Akihiko Yamashita (Howl's Moving Castle).
