The official website for the Momo Kyun Sword has released a new trailer for the anime. The video introduces the setting and characters , including oni ( ogres or demons ) that Momoko must fight .
The story begins with a woman resembling Momotarō , a famous character from Japanese folklore. Momoko is a beautiful young swordswoman born inside a peach (momo in Japanese). She lives with her companions, protected by the dog god Inugami, the monkey god Sarugami, and the pheasant god Kijigami—in a peaceful paradise.
However, an army of demons led by the Demon King invades paradise and steals the precious treasure that protects Momoko's land. This new animation will premiere this summer in Japan.
