Aniplex announced this Thursday (18) that the Off Season and Monster Season NisiOisin 's Monogatari series are receiving an anime adaptation at studio SHAFT , titled “ Monogatari Series Off & Monster Season ”. The announcement states that the anime is being produced for this year.

Akio Watanabe designed the image below. The image says: "Youth continues in the past and in the future."
Aniplex had been hinting at the new project on two different websites this week using the codenames "O" and "M".
The returning staff for the new anime includes Akiyuki Simbo as chief director, Midori Yoshizawa (episode director for Zoku Owarimonogatari) as director, and Akio Watanabe as character designer and chief animation director. Simbo and Fuyashi Tou are once again supervising the series scripts.
NisiOisin 's light novel series began with the two-volume Bakemonogatari Zoku Owarimonogatari in September 2014, but featured a teaser for " Monogatari Series, Next Season Tsugimonogatari ".
