Mononoke the Movie Synopsis
The film "MONONOKE" is set in Ōoku (historically the women's quarters of Edo Castle) and attempts to portray women's suffering and the use of medicine. However, considering the story's perspective, we decided to change the cast of the Medicine Seller.
Mononoke premiered in 2007 as a 12-episode anime series by Toei Animation (Dragon Ball, One Piece). As such, the series is a spinoff of the anime Ayakashi – Samurai Horror Tales. Although specifically, it follows the medicine seller from the "Bakeneko" (Goblin Cat) arc.
