The official Twitter for Junta Shima 's manga Murai no Koi announced that it is inspiring an anime . The announcement did not reveal the format or release date of the anime.
The manga revolves around Murai, an unassuming high school boy who confesses his love for his teacher, Tanaka, a woman who is a fan of otome games for girls. When Tanaka rejects Murai's advances, Murai returns the next day a changed man: new hair, a new style, and imitating Tanaka's favorite character from an otome game. Now Murai sets out on a quest to become Tanaka's dream man.
Kadokawa 's Line manga service Gene Line imprint in June 2018. The publisher released the manga's seventh volume this Wednesday.
