It has been revealed that the light novel Mushi-Uta by author Kyohei Iwa will end on May 1st, where volume 15 will be released. Kyohei began publishing the series in 2003 and in 2007 it was adapted into an anime with 12 episodes.

Synopsis – Ten years earlier, insect-like creatures known as "Mushi" began appearing. The Mushis are capable of consuming people's dreams and thoughts in exchange for supernatural powers. Daisuke "Kakkou" Kusuriya meets a girl named Shiika Anmoto. The two quickly become close. However, Kakkou doesn't know that Shiika is an escapee from a secret prison known as the "Garden," where those possessed by the Mushis, called Mushitsuki, are held. The Special Environmental Protection Executive Agency, the Garden's military force, sends its best assassin to locate Shiika. However, they face resistance from the Mushibane organization, led by the mysterious "Ladybird."
