Check out the trailer
The trailer reveals that Mushikaburi-hime is a traditional shoujo with charming and sensitive characters. Several handsome suitors await the heroine, Elianna Bernstein , who in the trailer appears to be a typical shoujo protagonist: the sensitive and kind girl. So, the question remains: will Mushikaburi-hime bring something unusual to the story or follow the traditional shoujo formula? We'll find out eventually!
Synopsis
Ever since she could read, Eliana Bernstein—better known as the "Bibliophile Princess"—has preferred the company of books to people. However, as a noblewoman, it is her duty to find a suitor. Fortunately for her, Crown Prince Christopher Selkirk Asherald proposes a deal: he will protect her free time, and in exchange, Eliana will be his bride in name only.
The years they spend together are blissful, as Eliana learns to open up to others. But all good things must come to an end. For Eliana, who loves books more than people, ending the fake relationship shouldn't be a big deal. But as Christopher grows closer to another girl, Eliana begins to realize she's not as indifferent to him as she thought.
