The official website for Mushishi (Mushi-Shi: Zoku-Shō (Mushi-Shi: The Sequel Chapter) has released the first promotional video for the anime's second season.

The new season will reunite most of the actors from the first season, helmed by director and script supervisor Hiroshi Nagahama . Cast members Yuto Nakano and Mika Doi are also reprising their roles as Ginko.

The original manga is the work of author Urushibara, which began in 1995 and ended in 2008 and is published by Del Rey. The second season will premiere on April 4th on Japanese TV.
