Mushishi 's official website (Mushi-Shi: Zoku-Shō (Mushi-Shi: The Sequel Chapter) released the first promotional video of the second season of the anime.
The new season will reunite most of the actors from the first season, led by director and script supervisor Hiroshi Nagahama . Cast members Yuto Nakano and Mika Doi are also reprising their roles as Ginko.
The original Manga is the work of author Urushibara which began in 1995, and ended in 2008, being published by Del Rey. The second will premiere on April 4th on Japanese TV.
