According to his tweet, the animator didn't get paid because the producer said he wouldn't use the scene he worked on. However, they included his scene in the episode, while the animator was left without receiving anything. He denounced the studio for not paying him, but, shortly after, it appears that the problem was resolved peacefully with the producers.
Despite this, some Japanese fans were worried about this case, as it could affect the Mushoku Tensei anime. They say that this doesn't usually happen at the BIND , so the production team may have other communication problems.
Furthermore, some comments emphasize that episode 2 had lower quality design and animation than usual. This stands out even more in the characters’ eyes and expressions. Criticisms also point out the issue of an animator only being paid if their work is used in the anime. For fans, this attitude seems like exploitation by the studios, as employees have no guarantee that they will be paid.

Soon, he is reincarnated in a fantastic world full of sorcery in the body of a baby. Therefore, over time, he develops great magical abilities.
