The official website for the Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation II anime, the second season of the Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation anime, revealed that the anime will be broadcast over two cours (two quarters of the year). Therefore, the first half will air from July to September, and the second half will air from April to June 2024.
The season will therefore have a total of 25 episodes. The first half premiered on Tokyo MX on July 2nd before airing on other networks. Crunchyroll is streaming the new season as it airs.
The cast members include: Yumi Uchiyama (Rudeus), Tomokazu Sugita (Former Rudeus), Ai Kayano (Fitts/Sylphiette), and Haruka Shiraishi (Sara). Ōhara also sang the opening and ending theme songs for the anime's first season.
The anime will therefore feature a returning cast. New cast members include:
- Haruka Shiraishi as Sara
- Yū Kobayashi as Suzanne
- Wataru Hatano as Timothy
- Chiharu Sawashiro as Mimir
- Itaru Yamamoto as Patris
- Kousuke Toriumi as Soldat Heckler
Crunchyroll will stream the new season as soon as it airs.
Synopsis
The plot revolves around a 34-year-old man who is unemployed and without prospects, and to make matters worse, is hit by a truck. He is then reincarnated in a fantastical world full of witchcraft in the body of a baby. As time passes, he develops great magical abilities. However, he decides to succeed in his new life, discarding his past identity to live as Rudeus Greyrat.
Part 2 of the first season of the Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation anime premiered in October 2021 in Japan.
