The official website for the second season of the anime 'Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation' announced this Friday (26) that it will premiere on July 2nd this year.
Additionally, the site revealed a new trailer and promotional art, and as such, the video reveals the opening theme “spiral” by LONGMAN and the ending theme “Musubime” (Knot) by Yuiko Ōhara.

The second season will have an advance screening of the first two episodes at TOHO CINEMAS Hibiya on June 25. Cast members will be in attendance, including Yumi Uchiyama (Rudeus), Tomokazu Sugita (Previous Rudeus), Ai Kayano (Fitts/Sylphiette), and Haruka Shiraishi (Sara).
Ōhara also sang the opening and ending theme songs for the anime's first season.
The anime will therefore feature a returning cast. New cast members include:
- Haruka Shiraishi as Sara
- Yū Kobayashi as Suzanne
- Wataru Hatano as Timothy
- Chiharu Sawashiro as Mimir
- Itaru Yamamoto as Patris
- Kousuke Toriumi as Soldat Heckler
Crunchyroll will stream the new season as soon as it airs.
Synopsis
The plot revolves around a 34-year-old man who is unemployed and without prospects. To make matters worse, he is hit by a truck. Soon, he is reincarnated in a fantasy world full of witchcraft in the body of a baby. As time passes, he develops great magical abilities. However, he resolves to succeed in his new life, discarding his past identity for his new life as Rudeus Greyrat.
