The official website for the anime adaptation of Taku Kawamura 's My Clueless First Friend ( Jijou wo Shiranai Tenkousei ga Guigui Kuru ) manga revealed that singer Reina Kondo will perform the series' opening theme song "Alcor to Polaris."

Furthermore, it is worth remembering that Reina Kondo also voices the character Umi Adachi in the anime.
My Clueless First Friend will premiere in April in Japan on TOKYO MX , TV Aichi , BS Fuji , Animax and other channels. Crunchyroll will stream the anime once it airs in Japan.

Shigenori Kageyama (DYNAMIC CHORD, Himawari!, Himawari Too!!) is directing the anime at studio St.Signpost , while Chikashi Kadekaru (Mieruko-chan, Juni Taisen: Zodiac War) is designing the characters. Takafumi Hoshikawa and Shogo Yasukawa (Food Wars!, Ayakashi Triangle) are in charge of the series' scripts, finally, Toshio Masuda (Kamisama Kiss, Naruto) is composing the music.
Synopsis
Opposites attract when a cheerful airhead meets the loner in his new class in this heartwarming high school comedy series. A lonely and sad fifth grade girl is the target of incessant bullying and teasing from her classmates, until a new boy enters the scene. The friendly Takada is as clueless as he is well-intentioned, but somehow possesses the magical ability to begin to bring 'Grim Reaper' Nishimura out of his shell. As the elementary school students experience all the fun of a childhood summer together – from swimming in the pool to picking sunflowers and watching fireworks – an unusual friendship then.
Kawamura then launched the manga in Square Enix 's Gangan Joker in May 2018. Therefore, Square Enix published the first volume of the manga in October 2018, and the 13th volume was published on November 22.
