The anime adaptation of manga Taku Kawamura, Jijou wo Shiranai Tenkousei ga Guigui Kuru (My Clueless First Friend), has received a new trailer and new cast additions. According to the official website, the series will premiere in April of this year.

The series is directed by Shigenori Kageyama (Himawari!, Himawari Too!!) at studio St.Signpost, while Chikashi Kadekaru (Mieruko-chan, Juni Taisen: Zodiac War) is designing the characters.
Synopsis
Opposites attract when a cheerful airhead meets the loner of his new class in this heartwarming school comedy series. A lonely and sad fifth-grade girl is the target of relentless bullying and teasing from her classmates, until a new boy enters the scene. The lovable Takada is as clueless as he is well-intentioned, but somehow possesses the magical ability to start drawing the 'Grim Reaper' Nishimura out of his shell. Kawamura then launched the manga in Gangan Joker 's Square Enix in May 2018. Square Enix subsequently published the first volume of the manga in October 2018, and the 13th volume was published on November 22nd.
