This historical romance anime, which premiered in 2023, won over many fans by telling the story of Miyo Saimori, a young woman from a noble family who faced numerous hardships after her mother's death. Her father arranged her marriage to Kiyoka Kudo, a military captain known for his severity. Miyo believed her destiny would be even more challenging, but ultimately found happiness alongside Kiyoka.
The anime's guaranteed success deserved a sequel

Release date for the My Happy Marriage special
The OVA, called Episode 13 and titled “Watashi no Shiawase no Katachi” (The Shape of My Happiness), was released in Japan in March 2024 on the Blu-ray version of the first season. It takes place shortly after the final events of the first season of the series.
The official Netflix Anime Twitter announced: “The day of the party has finally arrived! All eyes are on Miyo, but Kiyoka has someone special to introduce her to… My Happy Marriage returns with a special episode, Episode 13 (OVA), coming to Netflix on November 22, 2024! ”
