My Hero Academia – Original episode announced for the anime

This year's 35th issue of Shueisha 's Weekly Shonen Jump revealed on Monday that the My Hero Academia anime episode , which will then air in Japan starting August 16.

Plot

The new original episode is titled "My Hero Academia: Ikinokore! Kesshi no Survival Kunren." The episode takes place just before the provisional pro hero license exam. Class 1-A is divided into two teams to practice disaster scenarios. During the exercise, a fire breaks out in an underground mall, and the teams must rescue mannequins placed in the area, acting as survivors. As Deku and his 10-person team begin searching for victims to save, an area collapses, trapping them underground. Furthermore, there are also increased threats of other areas collapsing, the electricity has disappeared, and the air is getting thinner. Deku and his team must work together with their Quirks to escape and survive.

The anime's first 13-episode season premiered in April 2016. The second 25-episode season premiered in April 2017, and the third season premiered in April 2018 and ran for 25 episodes. The fourth season premiered in Japan in October 2019 and aired a total of 25 episodes. The anime will later receive a fifth season.
