My Hero Academia: Vigilantes new trailer release date

The anime adaptation of the spin-off My Hero Academia: Vigilantes ( Vigilante: Boku no Hero Academia Illegals ) revealed a new trailer, bringing big news for fans. The video confirmed the long-awaited release date, marking the beginning of a new journey in the franchise's universe.

Therefore, Boku Vigilante No Hero Academy (Vigilante: Boku No Hero Illegals Academy) premieres on April 7, 2025 with animated Bones Film. The direction is from Kenichi Suzuki and script by Yōsuke Kuroda.

Synopsis:

Koichi Haimawari was unable to become an official hero, so he uses his modest quirk to perform good deeds in his free time. One day, an unexpected encounter with some local thugs leads him to form a team with two other unlikely heroes. Neither of them quite knows what they're doing, but they have the courage – or perhaps just the recklessness – to try. However, they soon discover that fighting evil requires more than just bravery...

Furuhashi and Court launched My Hero Academy's spin-off in Shueisha's Shonen Jump Giga Shonen Jump+ in December of the same year. Viz Media began publishing the work digitally in English in August 2017 and is also launching physical versions. Manga Plus service offers digitally manga in English.
