An event dedicated to the sixth season of the anime “ Boku no Hero Academia ” ( My Hero Academia ) revealed this Sunday (06) that the franchise is receiving a fourth film.

Therefore, the original manga creator, Kōhei Horikoshi, will act as general supervisor and character designer. The film will have an original story set around the same period as the anime, with the collapse of society.
The sixth season of the anime then premiered in October 2022. The season aired for two consecutive "cours" (a quarter of a year) with a total of 25 episodes.
The franchise previously had three films. The film “My Hero Academia: Two Heroes” was released in Japan in July 2018. The second film, “My Hero Academia: Heroes Rising”, was released in Japan in December 2019. Finally, “My Hero Academia THE MOVIE: World Heroes' Mission” was released in Japan in August 2021.
