My Home Hero – Manga will be going on a 1-month hiatus

The 23rd issue of this year's Weekly Young Magazine, from Kodansha, announced on Monday (8) that the manga “My Home Hero”, by Naoki Yamakawa and Masashi Asaki, will go on hiatus in the 24th issue of the magazine and will return in the 25th issue, which launches on May 22.

My Home Hero – Manga will be going on a 1-month hiatus

Yamakawa and Asaki launched the manga in Weekly Young Magazine in May 2017. The 21st volume of the manga will be released on June 6th.

The final arc picks up the story seven years after the second part.

The anime adaptation of the manga premiered on April 2nd.

Synopsis

Tetsuo Tosu, an ordinary office worker, discovers that his daughter Reika is being abused by her boyfriend, Matori Nobuto. While investigating to learn more about it, Tetsuo discovers that his goal was to extort money from the young woman's wealthy grandparents; furthermore, the young man is part of a criminal organization that caused the death of his ex-girlfriend. Driven by anger and the desire to protect his daughter, the man takes an extreme action that completely changes his life.
