My Home Hero – Manga will go on a 1-month break

This year's 23rd issue of Kodansha's Weekly Young Magazine announced on Monday (8) that the manga "My Home Hero," by Naoki Yamakawa and Masashi Asaki, will go on hiatus in the magazine's 24th issue and will return in the 25th issue, which launches on May 22.

Yamakawa and Asaki launched the manga in Weekly Young Magazine in May 2017. The 21st volume of the manga will be released on June 6.

The final arc picks up the story seven years after the second part.

The anime adaptation of the manga premiered on April 2.

Synopsis

Tetsuo Tosu, an ordinary office worker, discovers that his daughter Reika is being abused by her boyfriend, Matori Nobuto. While investigating to learn more, Tetsuo discovers that his goal was to extort money from the girl's wealthy grandparents; furthermore, the young man is part of a criminal organization that caused his ex-girlfriend's death. Driven by rage and a desire to protect his daughter, the man takes an extreme action that completely changes his life.
