The official website for the anime based on the light novel “My Instant Death Ability is So Overpowered” ((Sokushi Cheat ga Saikyōsugite, Isekai no Yatsura ga marude Aite ni Naranain Desu ga.) by Tsuyoshi Fujitaka released a promotional video for the adaptation.
In addition, the website also revealed the cast, production team, visuals, teaser and confirmed the premiere for January 2024.

Masakazu Hishida (Fairy Ranmaru, Ensemble Stars!, KING OF PRISM by PrettyRhythm) is directing the anime at the animation studio Okuru to Noboru. Jou Aoba (a pseudonym for Hishida) is writing and supervising the series scripts. Sayuri Sakimoto (Tenchi Muyo! Ryo Ohki OAV 5/2020) is the character designer. The music composers include Hanae Nakamura, Tatsuhiko Saiki, Kanade Sakuma, and Daisuke Kadowaki.
The anime's cast includes:

- Tomoko Kaneda as Mokomoko Dannoura

Synopsis
Awakening to absolute chaos and carnage during a school field trip, Yogiri Takatou discovers that everyone in his class has been transported to another world! He somehow managed to sleep through the entire incident, losing the "Boon"—powers granted to others by a mysterious Sage who seemed to transport them. To make matters worse, he and another classmate were ruthlessly abandoned by their friends, left as bait to distract a nearby dragon. Though not overly concerned about the idea of dying, he reluctantly decides to protect his only companion. After all, a low-level 1000 monster stands no chance against his secret power of invoking "Instant Death" with a single thought! If he can stay awake long enough to bother using it, of course…
Ultimately, Fujitaka first released the story on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website in 2016, before Earth Star Entertainment began publishing it with illustrations by Chisato Naruse.
