The official Twitter for the anime My Love Story With Yamada-kun no Lv999 has revealed the first promotional video, two voice actors, staff and promotional art.

Mito from the group Clammbon (Yurei Deco) and artist DÉ DÉ MOUSE (Wonder Egg Priority) are composing the music.
The newly announced cast includes:
- Natsuki Hanae as Eita Sasaki
- Ai Kakuma as Runa Sasaki
Previously announced voice actors:
- Inori Minase as Akane
- Kouki Uchiyama as Yamada
Morio Asaka (Chihayafuru, Cardcaptor Sakura, My Love Story!!) is directing the anime at Madhouse . Kunihiko Hamada is designing the characters, and Yasuhiro Nakanishi (A Couple of Cuckoos, Kaguya-sama: Love is War) is in charge of the series scripts.
Synopsis
After her boyfriend cheats on her with another girl he met in-game, Akane Kinoshita learns the hard way that gamer boyfriends can be just as bad as real-life ones. While venting her anger by beating up monsters in a game, she has a chance encounter with Akito Yamada, a guildmate with an afro and a Noh mask. Yamada is unsociable and blunt, and he's not the kind of person Akane falls in love with. However, while his gaming stats may be high, Yamada is inexperienced in matters of the heart, and against all odds, she finds herself drawn to him. Making new friends along the way, will Akane be able to stir Yamada's heart?
Mashiro debuted the manga in 2018, and Kadokawa published the sixth volume of the manga on October 21st.
