The newly announced cast includes:
- Natsuki Hanae as Eita Sasaki
- Ai Kakuma as Runa Sasaki
Voice actors previously announced:
- Inori Minase as Akane
- Kouki Uchiyama as Yamada
Morio Asaka (Chihayafuru, Card Captor Sakura, My Love Story!!) is directing the anime at Madhouse . Kunihiko Hamada is designing the characters, and Yasuhiro Nakanishi (A Couple of Cuckoos, Kaguya-sama: Love is War) is in charge of the series scripts.
Synopsis
After her boyfriend cheats on her with another girl he met in a game, Akane Kinoshita learns the hard way that gamer boyfriends can be just as bad as real-life ones. While venting her anger by beating up monsters in a game, she has a chance encounter with Akito Yamada, a guildmate with an afro and a Noh mask. Yamada is unsociable and curt, and he's not the type of person Akane would fall for. However, although his gaming stats may be high, Yamada is inexperienced in matters of the heart, and against all odds, she's drawn to him. Making new friends along the way, will Akane be able to win Yamada's heart?
Mashiro debuted the manga in 2018, and Kadokawa published the sixth volume on October 21st.
